Rod Murray established Body4Life Training in 2012, building upon his thirty years as a Personal Trainer and Coach in the metro area. In 2021 Rod achieved USA Weightlifting Level 2 Coaching status, which is a perfect compliment to his 500 hour registered yoga teacher certification. He is the author of Dynamic Flexibility: Train Your Body to Move .
Among his credentials Rod is an ACSM American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist and Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer, a specialty certification to empower those who are challenged by physical, sensory, or cognitive disabilities. CIFT-credentialed individuals give clients the knowledge and support to lead a healthy and comfortable lifestyle.
Rod is also a USA Cycling coach, past coach at the USA Olympic Training Center Colorado Springs, with the US Paralympic cycling team, and past coach of the Princeton University Cycling Team.
Most of all, Rod enjoys inspiring and guiding people of all ages and abilities find their way to physical health and “functional well-being" in whatever way works best for them. This is truer than ever now, as we all seek to stay healthy in body and mind during COVID-19.
